What could be the problem?
I’m due to see me doctor on Friday as I have recently started getting gnawing pains above my right kidney that spreads across the small of my back and groin, It seems to happen when I get agitated. It happened yesterday in the opticians and it almost brought me to my knees. Over in seconds and leaves me with a gnawing pain above my kidney and very shaky? I know I should only ask my Gp but perhaps someone out there has suffered something similar.
Urinalysis may be done (for blood in the urine, crystals etc.) If the result is abnormal, abdominal ultrasonography has to be conducted.

Sounds very like a kidney infection. It can cause intense pain. You must see the Doctor, in the meantime drink as much as you can and keep your back area warm.

Sounds like kidney stones to me. They take your breathe away, they give you a very hard cramp and you can hardly stand. Make sure you let our doctor know, He may want to take X-Rays to see if they’ve moved.

is it frowned upon to take my 9 month old on a walk outside in the cold? He'll be bundled up.?
It’s pretty cold here in VA, but I really just need to get outside and take a walk. It’s really sunny & I have cabin fever. I will only go about 2 miles and we’ll both be as bundled up as possible. I just want to make sure strangers won’t yell at me or anything for taking a baby out in these temperatures. Is this frowned upon? Is it ok? What’s the worst that could happen? Do parents take their babies on walks in Alaska? LOL. Thanks!!!
Just put a blanket over the stroller so the wind one get him. If you need to get out get out.

In my eyes it’s fine. If you and the baby are bundled up, why not? Yes, parents take their babies out in the cold in Alaska. I think the only time my parents didn’t take me out was when it was lower than -20.

Two miles is too far to walk with a kid in the winter. I’ve got two little ones of my own. Maybe around the block or down the street would be fine, but two miles is too far. Kids have different respiratory systems than we adults do, and can’t tolerate the cold as well. A little outside during the winter at nine months is just fine – just don’t over do it!

That is entirely too cold and too far. No babies need to be outside for extended periods of time in the winter, their bodies just aren’t meant for it, no matter how many layers of clothing she has on. Use a little common sense here.

Stop worrying about what other people will think. You are the parent, you make the decisions for your child. There is no problem taking your son out for a walk as long as he’s healthy, you bundle him up and are watching to make sure he doesn’t get uncomfortable. The worst consequence would be frost bite, but that is unlikely with temps in the 30s. (I live in MN – temps in the 30s seem almost balmy to me right now!) You might want to consider stopping once or twice during your walk and going into a store or somewhere to warm up a bit, and bring a towel or something in case he drools, because that wetness will be uncomfortable in the cold. Otherwise, it’s totally fine. Parents do take their kids on walks in colder states when the weather permits… obviously when it’s subzero or snowy or icy, we have to keep the kids in or take our walks at a local mall or something like that.

However, I’ll make note that you shouldn’t get too attatched to the "make all the decisions" lifestyle. The girl I love has a mom who likes to steal boyfriends away from her daughter by making up lies about me just so she’ll hate me.

I spent 3 hours outside with my 2 year old and 3 month old. It was -15C (5F) with the windchill. I had my 2 year old dressed appropriately and my 3 month old had an extra layer on then was in the carrier wrapped up in my coat so we shared body heat.
If strangers say anything, ignore it. I don’t live in Alaska, but sometimes the Canadian prairies get just as cold if not colder.

Do what you please he is your baby. I don’t think it’s frowned upon, I see babies out all the time in this cold weather. The day before 2008 Inauguration me and my 7mo old was down on the mall walking around (boy was it freezing that weekend). He was bundled up with a hat and blanket on top. We prob walked over two miles. Go ahead get out of the house & stretch your legs.

However, just as Velma’s star fell, so does Roxie’s, when Go-to-hell Kitty arrives at the jail on a multiple murder charge, the press forget Roxie and now she and Velma are in the same boat. alright i aint really too big a fan but Reggae seems to have been put back under the radar within the following few years after Bob Marleys death (as did grunge)

Neither died with either. Marley was great, one of the greatest to have ever lived. However, reggae didn’t die out. No type of music really dies out. Grunge didn’t end with Cobain’s death. Kurt Cobain was overrated and overhyped, and still is. Grunge continued long after his death.

My cook is almost 65 year old widow doing household work in many homes of Chittaranjan Park area of South Delhi.
She is really very poor and ill but she does not have any ration card of BPL , everyday she meets with many authorities in this context but they make her travel from one place to another.She actually stays at a jhuggi at Tuglaqabad . She is really very genuine and poor lady I want to help her but due to my poor health I can not go out of home so I need a volunteer who can help her in doing this work.

BPL list is prepared by the Municipal Corporation authorities. If she has got Jhuggi ration card, please file a petition before the Rationing Officer of your area to include her in BPL. But the last date for filing the application was 11th March, 2009. However, her application will be considered now. If she is in receipt of old age pension, the sanction order of the Tahsildar of your Taluk is enough to prove that she is BPL and her application will be considered favourably. This time next week you won’t hear a peep about this case so it seems a bit pointless jumping up and down. I mean Britain did the right thing by protesting …… China did the right thing by complaining about British complaints …… and thats it. The world will still keep turning.
The lesson we’ve learned from all this:
- Don’t let your mentally ill relative roam around the world, sleeping rough in Poland for goodness sakes, then expect the government to bail him out when he latches onto a hair brained scheme for a quick buck.
- Try not to smuggle drugs into countries that have the death penalty.
- Don’t condemn your own country for not doing enough, when you should be looking at what YOU did to prevent him from falling into this catastrophe. I see his cousins moaning and complaining. Well what the F did THEY do??? If I was a government official I’d be asking them what they did to help him for the years he spent sleeping rough in Poland while he was persuing his dream of being a recording artist.
- Finally if you are going to claim mental illness, try to have SOME record of this. The fact there is NO record in existence says it all. The dude never sought help, his family never sought help for him ….. yet the minute he gets into trouble, suddenly they expect the rest of the world to bend over backwards.
Finally and I know this is harsh, but is it really that bad that there is one less nutjob in the world??

However Bob is NOT the best RV steering wheel operator in the neighborhood and the hilarity is added on by the fact that the brakes are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Bob first realizes it when the RV rolls (not literally) backwards into a line of shopping carts. Also Bob’s job is in danger if he doesn’t go to a very important meeting. Before you can say “COME BACK! COME BACK!,” things go gloriously, hilariously, Munro-annoyingly wrong due to the lack of brakes, Bob’s job, toilet waste not cleared out from the last rental and more hilarious stuff. |

Can I buy a used Dish receiver and dish for a RV? What do I need for it to work? Can I use a used card?
I would like to hook up a Dish receiver and satelite dish to our travel trailer using our existing account, but am not sure what I need. I have tried to call Dish network, but they are not very helpful. Can I just buy a used receiver and dish?
you can do the same as I did for my motor home.
I went on eBay and bought a receiver. I called DirecTV and they forced me to buy a new smart card ($25.00). After I set up the added receiver on my account, I can suspend the service while the motor home is parked during the winter.
Dish is not very helpful, so I went with DirecTV, they were actually happy that I selected them.

If the account is clean you should be able to get it moved to your account fine. The box needs either the card it came with, or the one issued to it in a card upgrade.
DirecTV is different because of how they use cards. For DirecTV, the card basically belongs to the account, while with Dishnet, it belongs to the receiver, regardless of who it gets sold to. Unless the unit is a model with a built in card (I think all of the 3 digit models are that), it needs to come with a card.
